         About UMM

UMM is an exotic campus which was built around the topography of the land.
The land contained hills, bamboo trees and the Brantas River.
The campus is green, lovely, picturesque, shady and certainly comfortable for studying.

UMM was founded in 1964 in MalangEast Java about 98 kilometers south of Surabaya
Malang is a hilly city surrounded by four mountains: Panderman,ArjunoKawi, and Semeru
Being 550 metres above sea level, Malang has a cool climate which ranges from 23.37 0C - 30.01 0C. 
With these conditions Malang is well known as a City of Flowers and a City of Education. 
Owing to these conditions many students from other parts of Indonesia and overseas choose to study in Malang.

UMM has three campuses in which the locations are strategic and accessible via land, air or sea transportation. Over 25,000 students, both domestic and foreign, are studying at UMM. 
Our foreign students have come from countries such as:  Australia,SingaporeMalaysiaEgyptEast TimorEurope, and America.

In terms of facilities, UMM has provided the necessary equipment to support students comfortably with their studies. Facilities to support both academic and non-academic needs are available. 
The learning-teaching process and administration are supported by the adequate ICT facilities  and management information system. As a result, the teaching-learning process at UMM is known as being efficient, up-to-date and student friendly. 

How to go to UMM?

UMM campus is located in three locations. The main campus, Campus III, is located on Jl. Raya Tlogomas No. 246 Malang. The campus is situated not far from the Landungsari Bus Station. The campus is on the right side of the Tlogomas Highway (if it is from Dinoyo toward Batu). To reach the Malang City, it can be reached via air or land transportations (either by bus or train).

Aircraft Transportation:
Soekarno Hatta Airport (Jakarta) to Abdul Rahman Saleh Airport (Malang). The aircrafts that serve route Jakarta - Malang are:
a. Garuda Airways: twice flight







b. Sriwijaya Air: 3 times flights









c. Batavia Air: 1 time flight.





Soekarno Hatta Airport (Jakarta) to Juanda Airport (Surabaya), or from another city to Juanda Airport (Surabaya), then using land transportation such as taxi, travel, bus, or train.
From Abdul Rahman Saleh Airport to Campus III UMM, taxi is available.

 Bus Transportation:
 From any direction (Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Denpasar, and others), it can go directly to Arjosari, Landungsari, or Gadang Bus Station. From the bus station to UMM, taxi of other public transportation are available.
Railway Transportation:
To reach Malang is also possible using railway transportation, especially from Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Solo, Surabaya and Banyuwangi. The destination station is Malang Kota Baru.
